Barbichette - Poc A Poc

Crafted by César Vega and Louisiane Remy of Barbichette, 'Poc a Poc' is a skin-contact Muscat inspired by the macerated Muscats of the Côtes Catalanes in France. The grapes are organically farmed on glacial silt loam soils with western exposure in Seneca Lake. After a two-week maceration, the wine is pressed and fermented in a 36hL old oak cask, then aged on fine lees for eight months. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, and without added sulfites, this wine shows raw, expressive charm.

Tasting Notes:
Aromatic and vibrant, offering high-toned notes of lime zest, honeysuckle, alpine flowers, fresh roses, and a hint of black tea. Crisp acidity and gentle tannins make for a lively, textured palate.

Food Pairing:
Perfect with spicy Thai green curry, grilled prawns with lemon and herbs, or a bright citrus and fennel salad. For a cheeky twist, bring it to brunch with a goat cheese and vegetable quiche — it's a sunshine wine begging for a daytime table.
