La Fuerza Vermouth Blanco
La Fuerza (“The Force”) is a vermouth born in the foothills of the Andes in Mendoza, Argentina, produced with white Torrontés grapes and more than 40 hand-harvested Andean botanicals — including wormwood (Artemisia mendozana), carqueja, lemon verbena, thyme, and mint. The project was conceived by four friends with deep roots in Argentina’s wine and gastronomy scene, aiming to create a vermouth that honors regional terroir and artisan craft outside the usual European centres.
Tasting Notes
On the nose, La Fuerza Blanco offers fresh mint and thyme, wild sage, juniper, and citrus peel. The palate is crisp and herbal-driven: wormwood bitterness meets gentle honeyed sweetness, with coriander seed, star anise, and a hint of green tea leaf. The finish lingers on dried fruits, light spice, eucalyptus and a refined herbal echo.
Serving Suggestion
Serve chilled over a large ice cube with a twist of lemon and a splash of soda water to highlight its herbal brightness, or substitute it for traditional sweet white vermouth in a White Negroni or Vesper-style cocktail for an Argentinian twist.
