Fallen Grape “Mother” Orange 2023
An organically farmed, skin-contact orange wine from California’s Central Coast, blending 75% Grenache Blanc, 20% Riesling, and 5% Sémillon. Fermented on the skins for 12–25 days in a mix of oak and stainless steel, bottled unfined and unfiltered at 12% ABV for a fresh, textured style that’s bright and easy to drink.

Tasting Notes
Golden-amber in the glass, with aromas of marmalade, tangerine peel, apricot, and dried herbs. The palate is lively yet textured, offering pithy citrus, stone fruit, and subtle floral tones, carried by a gentle tannic grip. A slightly bitter, herbal finish keeps it refreshing and food-friendly.

This wine sings with a Maryland-style crab cake and lemony aioli—the citrus and texture cut through the richness while echoing the seasoning.
