Macvin du Jura is a traditional Jura fortified mistelle—made by blending fresh grape must (from Savagnin and often Chardonnay) with local Marc du Jura brandy, then aging in oak for a minimum of a year under the AOC rules. It's not a fortified wine that’s aged on skins—it’s a liqueur-style blend, preserving natural grape sweetness and acidity

Tasting Notes:
Golden and vibrant, this wine greets you with rich aromas of candied orange peel, baked apricot, dried figs, and a touch of caramel. On the palate there’s a lovely mix of stone fruit and nutty warmth, balanced by Jura’s signature saline tang and a slight bittersweet, vermouth-like finish. It’s lush and indulgent but perfectly clean, thanks to lively acidity behind the sweetness

Food Pairing:
Enjoy it chilled as a dessert wine—it’s a natural with almond biscotti or nut-spiced cake. Feeling cheeky? Pair it with blue cheese on toast, where the creamy saltiness and bold flavor become a delightful dance with the wine’s sweetness and complexity.
