This blend from Amevive in Santa Barbara County mixes 55% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 20% Mourvèdre, and sees about 80% whole-cluster fermentation. It’s crafted using minimal cellar intervention (unfined/unfiltered) to highlight vineyard-driven character.

Tasting Notes
Medium ruby in the glass. On the nose, bursts of red and black cherry, raspberry, and a hint of dried herbs. The palate delivers juicy Grenache fruit, Syrah’s dark berry depth and Mourvèdre’s earthy spice; whole clusters contribute a peppery stem-note and lifted aromatic detail. The finish is bright, textured and carries a fresh tension that makes it feel both lively and composed.

Food Pairing
Lovely with herb-roasted lamb chops or a garlic-and-rosemary pork tenderloin — the wine’s spice and red fruit complement savory, roasted meats. For a fun twist, try it with a wood-fired pepperoni and mushroom flatbread: the fruit and peppery edge stand up beautifully to the char and umami.
