Bateau Ivre Yoyo Wines
Crafted by Laurence Manya Krief, known as "YoYo," in the coastal vineyards of Banyuls-sur-Mer, this wine is a vibrant expression of Grenache. The grapes were hand-harvested on August 19 and 20, 2024, and underwent an 8-day semi-carbonic maceration. Aged in barrels, the wine was bottled unfined, unfiltered, with minimal sulfur (<10mg/L), showcasing YoYo's commitment to natural winemaking practices.
Bright and fresh, this wine offers red fruit characteristics with a wild side. Expect notes of wild blackberries, fresh strawberries, and a hint of raspberry zing, complemented by subtle herbal undertones.
Food Pairing:
Perfect for pizza nights, crunchy green salads, or as an aperitif. For a playful Corsican twist, pair it with grilled sardines or a traditional veal and olive stew—the wine's acidity and spice complement these flavors beautifully.
