Cieck Vigna Misobolo Erbaluce di Caluso 2021
Grown in the historic Vigna Misobolo vineyard on San Giorgio hill (320 m elevation), this single-vineyard Erbaluce comes from vines over 50 years old. The grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel, then aged on lees for a full 12 months before another 6 months in bottle, creating a wine with both freshness and presence
Tasting Notes:
Pale straw-yellow with green highlights, this wine opens with delicate aromas of pear, hawthorn, yellow flowers, and a touch of sage and marjoram. On the palate, it's juicy and mineral-driven—think crisp apple, green plum, and wet stone, balanced by lively acidity and a clean, savory finish .
Food Pairing:
Right at home with pan-fried lake fish seasoned with lemon and parsley, a simple regional favorite that highlights the wine's clean, mineral energy. Or go for fun and unexpected: shrimp tacos with spicy mango salsa—the wine’s acidity and stone-fruit notes bounce off the heat beautifully.
