Margins Neutral Oak Hotel 2022

Margins Wine is made by Megan Bell in the Santa Cruz mountains in California. She started this brand on her own in 2016 with the specific goal to make wine from places untouched by modern agriculture (pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, etc.). You could say that these vineyard plots were “on the margins” of available land. Her love is chenin Blanc and that’s what adds so much character to this RED wine! Chenin (just to make sure we all know) is a white grape and in this staple cuvée she blends a ton of it in with barbera, Pinot noir, and Mourvèdre.
