Jolie Laide Trousseau Noir

A playful, natural-wine red from California’s boutique producer Jolie‑Laide. This blend features mainly Trousseau Noir (≈ 42 %) alongside Cabernet Pfeffer (~20 %), Gamay (~30 %) and a touch of Poulsard (~8 %). The fruit comes from risk-taking vineyards across the North and Central Coast, vinified with whole-cluster and native yeasts, aged in neutral oak for transparency.

Tasting Notes
Light ruby in color. On the nose: pomegranate, raspberry, and tart red fruit with a hint of fresh pepper and herbs. On the palate: bright and lean red-berry flavors flow into a peppery stem spice, lean tannins and lively acidity. The finish is refreshing with mineral undertones and a slightly rustic edge.

Food Pairing
Try it with herb-roasted chicken thighs or a sausage and onion flatbread for a weekday dinner hit. For a fun twist, serve it lightly chilled alongside tomato-goat-cheese tartlets—the wine’s freshness and spice shine right through.
