La Boutanche - Martin Texier (Monkey)

$29.00

Crafted by Martin Texier (son of famed natural winemaker Eric Texier), La Boutanche is an organic, light-bodied red built for everyday enjoyment. It’s made from certified-organic Cinsault (pure fruit from Domaine Puech Redon, grown in clay/sand/limestone), naturally fermented (whole-cluster in fiberglass/stainless), with minimal or no sulfur, and bottled in a friendly 1 liter screw cap format

Tasting Notes:
Bright and fresh, this “glou-glou” wine bursts with tart cherry, cranberry, and red plum, with a touch of black pepper, herbal nuance, and smooth tannins. Fun, easy-chugging, and seriously delightful — great lightly chilled at around 14 °C .

Food Pairing:
Pair it first with a Niçoise-style tuna salad—anchovy, egg, olive, and a swirl of olive oil pick up the wine’s vibrant fruit and crisp acidity. Feeling playful? Try it with a BBQ ribs soft taco, where the tangy sauce and meaty char make this wine taste like a summer fiesta in a glass.
