Monte Bernardi Chianti Classico Riserva 2020

Crafted exclusively from 100% Sangiovese grapes, the Sa'etta Riserva originates from Monte Bernardi's esteemed Sa'etta vineyard, situated in the heart of Panzano. This single-vineyard wine benefits from highly reflective sandstone soils rich in quartz, contributing to its notable minerality and complexity. The wine undergoes natural fermentation in large oak casks, followed by malolactic fermentation in a combination of German and Austrian oak. It is then aged for at least 24 months in oak and an additional 12 months in bottle before release.

The 2020 Sa'etta Riserva presents a deep ruby hue with aromas of red cherry, blackberry, and violet, complemented by subtle notes of tobacco and oak-driven spice. On the palate, it is fresh and rightly tannic, offering a savory profile with a deep, lingering finish.
