The grapes from limestone soils used for the Arbois Trousseau Amphore were hand-destemmed and fermented with a three-month maceration in French 420-liter clay amphorae and then matured in large barrels. One of our favorite reds – expressive, ripe without excess and with a full range of aromas and flavors. It’s medium-bodied, has fine-grained chalky tannins and finishes dry and long.
