Tissot "Patchwork" Chardonnay 2023

Produced by Bénédicte & Stéphane Tissot, this wine is a blend of older vines (25–60 years) planted on both clay (60%) and limestone (40%) soils across several west-facing parcels. It sees about 12–14 months in larger oak foudres, is bottled unfined and unfiltered, and reflects a natural, terroir-driven approach

Tasting Notes:
The nose offers lively citrus (lemon, mandarin), orchard fruits, and toasted almond, while the palate is medium-bodied, fresh, and lively—crunchy, mineral, with a chalky, saline finish. Subtle reduction adds a flinty edge without overwhelming the fruit

Food Pairing:
This Jura Chardonnay shines with something simple and regional, like roast chicken with lemon and garlic potatoes — comforting, flavorful, and just the right amount of crispy. Or go a little playful and pour it next to a grilled cheese with sharp cheddar and a swipe of Dijon — trust us, it works.
